The Vassal Engine is a game engine for building and playing online adaptations of board games, tabletop games, and card games virtually. It allows players to play in real-time over a live Internet connection, and also by email. It runs on all platforms and is free to use.  You need a Vassal Client in order to use any of our Vassal modules.  Our Vassal modules are FREE but are not complete games and require the ownership of the board game or the companion book.   

The companion book covers the module rules and scenarios.  We have also included many of the module's important player aids like the Terrain Effects Card and Skill reference cards. The Companion book is perfect for virtual gaming with Vassal for those who don’t own the board game.
